South Snohomish County fire calls, week of July 15-21

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 272 calls the week of July 15-21: 204 emergency medical aid calls, 25 motor vehicle collisions, four service calls, one natural gas leak and 14 automatic fire alarms.

July 15
COLLISION. At 4:19 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a three-car collision in the 7500 block of Lake Ballinger Way in Edmonds.

July 16
COLLISION. At 3:57 a.m., a semi-truck rolled and came to rest on its side on the ramp from southbound Highway 99 to southbound SR 525 north of Lynnwood. Firefighters had to cut apart the truck cab to free the driver from the wreckage. The driver was transported by medics to Harborview Medical Center.

July 17
COLLISION. Firefighters transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center after responding to a two-car collision on southbound I-5 near the county line at 12:49 a.m.

July 18
COLLISION. At 3:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a five-car collision at 156th St. SW and Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. Two people were transported by medic units to Stevens Hospital.

DUMPSTER FIRE. At 7:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a Dumpster fire at an apartment complex in the 15500 block of 40th Ave. W north of Lynnwood.

July 20
COLLISION. At 3:28 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a collision at 220th St. SW and I-5 in Mountlake Terrace.

July 21
COLLISION. Firefighters took two patients to Stevens Hospital after responding to a three-car collision in the 3900 block of 149th Pl. SW west of Mill Creek at 7:11 p.m.
