Today: Bluegrass on the lawn at Edmonds City Park

Spread out a blanket at City Park and be ready to listen to some bluegrass today when the Edmonds Arts Commission presents Runaway Train, part of its free outdoor summer concert series. The music begins at 3 p.m. at the park, at 3rd and Pine. Here’s a preview of their music:

Aug. 1        Tingstad & Rumbel, Contemporary Instrumental

Aug. 8        Hot Club Sandwich, Hot Gypsy Jazz

Aug. 15      Juba Marimba, African Rhythms

Aug. 22      The MoodSwings Jazz Band, Big Band Music

Aug. 29      Soul Purpose, Classic Rock & Soul

All events are ADA accessible, and are presented by Edmonds Arts Commission on behalf of the Edmonds City Council.
