“The Reality of Life in Zimbabwe” — its people, its struggles and its future — is the topic of a cultural presentation at the Fabric of Life Boutique, 523 Main St., in Edmonds from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The speaker is Maud Matenda, a development specialist who has formed savings and credit associations throughout both urban and rural Zimbabwe.
The event is free and open to the public. The boutique is operated by the Fabric of Life Foundation, which works to help lift women out of poverty in developing nations.
