‘Honeybees’ topic of Edmonds Floretum Garden Club meeting next Monday

Edmonds Floretum Garden Club member and beekeeper Mary Ann James will give a presentation on “Honeybees” at the Monday, Sept. 20 club meeting in the Brackett Room, Third Floor of City Hall, 121 5th Ave.  James has  completed a Master Beekeeping course at Simon Fraser University and a beekeeping program at Penn State University, and also has  beehives in her own Edmonds garden.

Pauline Gubbels, the newly elected president of Edmonds Floretum Garden Club, will begin her term on Sept. 20.  The meeting begins at noon. Floretum has monthly meetings from September through May.  For more information go to www.edmondsfloretumgardenclub.org
