Edmonds-area candidates discuss issues at Civic Engagement Forum

  2. I enjoyed the forum very much. Disappointed that Mr. Richter did not attend, I would have appreciated hearing his points of view on the subjects.

    I must say that I support Elizabeth Scott. She had content to what she said and avoided “politics as usual” that seem to be the standard talking points in Olympia. I am personally very frustrated with how Olympia continues to ignore the voice of the people and do what they consider best, as if we are uninformed children and they are the all enlightened elite. I want fresh men and women to get rid of the 90% incumbents there. We need some commen sense.

    Rep. Marko continues to say how he is “proud of the job we have done” but he voted yes on nearly every tax increase that came to a vote in Olympia. Out state is nearly as in the hole at California. We need to STOP SPENDING MONEY! I’m sick of the excuses and want to see men and women elected who will just say NO to the madness.
