The Edmonds Cemetery Board is seeking volunteers to fill two alternate positions. The board consists of seven non-paid volunteers and two alternates serving four-year terms.
Board members and alternates must be committed to attend one 4 p.m. meeting on the third Thursday of each month and participate in committee work and activities involving the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery & Columbarium and the City. An interest in the City of Edmonds and its history, and a willingness to serve the citizens of Edmonds is desirable. Applicants participate in an interview process and are selected, in part, based upon their skills as they apply to the board’s mission, functions, and current and ongoing projects.
Applications and information are available at the City Hall lobby reception area or by calling 425-771-0247. Completed applications can be dropped off in the lobby of City Hall or mailed to the Office of the Mayor, Attention: Edmonds Cemetery Board, 121 5th Ave. N., Edmonds, WA 98020 no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8.
