Edmonds’ Chermak Construction celebrating 30th anniversary

This year, Edmonds-based Chermak Construction, Inc. is celebrating 30 years of work in the Greater Puget Sound region.

Through the years, the company has won awards for remodeling excellence on a local and regional basis, but never nationally, according to Marketing Manager Kathy Hashbarger. This year, it’s only fitting that Chermak has won four national, one regional, and two local awards. In addition, Seattle Business magazine has named the company as a “Best 100 Companies to Work For 2010.”

Chermak Construction Inc. has been under the leadership of President Howard Chermak since 1980. His philosophy for the company — since its inception — has been to be a full service remodeling company with exceptional employees who thrive in a family atmosphere. The company reflects his commitment to quality and his concern for the needs of the customer and community at large, Hashbarger said.

On Friday, the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will honor the company by hosting a ribbon cutting to help Chermak celebrate the theme of “Honoring the Past & Commiting to the Future.”
