It’s time: Classic Car Show roars into Edmonds Sunday

Hundreds of classic cars are expected at Sunday's show.Start your day off right Sunday with a free pancake breakfast at North Sound Community Church, 404 Bell St., followed by a day at the Edmonds Classic Car Show.

Sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce,  the show is open to anyone with a classic car — defined as a 1980 model or older — and registration is $20 the day of the show. The breakfast starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m.; the car show is from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. About  300-400 vehicles are on display each year, and awards will be given in various categories, including Best of Show.

The show also features a Now and Then Display, with classic cars side-by-side with 2010 models . And for the young and young at heart, free cartoons will be shown at the Edmonds Theater from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
