Here’s the schedule of what’s open and closed in Edmonds on Labor Day, which is Monday.
– City of Edmonds and Snohomish County offices are closed on Monday. There will be an Edmonds City Council meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
-Banks are closed.
-Most state government offices will also be closed both Monday and Tuesday due to a state furlough day. This includes the Department of Licensing, which advises those who need DOL services to go online. Department of Licensing offices are likely to be very crowded when they reopen on Wednesday, so plan accordingly.
-Post offices are closed and there is no home mail delivery.
-The Edmonds Public Library will be closed on Monday.
-Schools are closed. Public schools in Edmonds start school on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
-Community Transit bus and DART paratransit service won’t operate Sunday or Monday.
-Washington State Ferries’ Edmonds/Kingston route will operate on a normal Monday schedule. Check schedules online at: https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/schedule/.
-The Edmonds liquor store is open on Monday until 7 p.m.
