Meadowdale’s Alisa Sagdal scored in the 65th minute at the Mavericks defeated cross-town rival Edmonds-Woodway 1-0 in the first match of the season for both teams at Edmonds Stadium Tuesday night. Katie Huggins had the assist. In the goal for the Mavericks was Brianna Eney.
