Last week, Sound Transit’s contractor, Pellco Construction, started the demolition and removal of asphalt from the south parking lot in preparation for soil remediation — the removal and disposal of contaminated soil.  This week, the contractor will begin to remove potentially contaminated soil from the site. 

Next week, crews will prepare to bore under the tracks in order to install conduit that will supply the station with electrical and communication lines for lighting, ticket vending machines and other station amenities.
