Writers to polish their craft in Edmonds this weekend

Nearly 250 writers will get their creative juices flowing in Edmonds this weekend during the 25th annual “Write on the Sound” conference  presented by the City of Edmonds Arts Commission at the Frances Anderson Center. While the event is at capacity, the public is invited to hear the keynote speech by Natalie Goldberg, internationally acclaimed author of “Writing Down the Bones,” at 1 p.m. Saturday Oct 2, at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 4th Ave. N.

You can purchase tickets for Goldberg’s talk, “The True Secret”  — $16 for adults and $10 for students with ID —  by calling the ECA box office at 425-275-9595, or buy them at the door (come early).  The talk will be followed by a book-signing in the lobby and the Edmonds Bookshop will have copies of Goldberg’s books available for purchase at ECA.
