A 39-year-old Seattle woman died after she was hit by a car early Sunday morning as she was attempting to cross the 21400 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds, Edmonds police said.
According to Edmonds Police Sgt. Don Anderson, the incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., and the driver who struck the woman called 911 and remained on the scene. The woman was dead when police arrived, Anderson said.
