‘Date Night Edmonds’ launches Thursday, with special activities for couples

This Thursday, Oct. 7, is “Date Night Edmonds,” an opportunity for couples to get out for a fun evening and enjoy the best that downtown Edmonds has to offer.

The night begins at Glazed & Amazed, where couples can spend quality time together and unwind by painting their own pottery piece or fusing glass. You will save $5 per couple at this Date Night event. Then, the two of you will be presented with certificates to enjoy fine dining at the hottest restaurants in Edmonds: Epulo, Olives Café and Wine Bar, and The Loft.

All three restaurants have extended generous discounts to Date Night participants. Olives Café and Wine Bar is offering a half-price wine list, normally available on Tuesday evening, for those looking to enjoy a drink together. Epulo will offer a free dessert with the purchase of two entrees and The Loft encourages couples to stop by for half off their first glass of wine with the purchase of a small or Loft plate.

And here’s an even better deal for loyal My Edmonds News readers. Those who mention they saw this offer on My Edmonds News will receive an additional 10 percent discount at participating restaurants when you pay your bill.

The event is open to everyone, whether you are on a first date, are newlyweds or long-time couples. If you have questions or want more information, call Glazed & Amazed at 425-673-5474. If two or more couples would like to come out and enjoy the evening together, let Glazed & Amazed know and they will reserve a table for your party.

  1. great idea! now get word out in advance and we can better plan..

Next should be kids night out w streets blocked and kids riding bikes around town while parents shop..then umbrella night where folks walking the streets this winter get discounts for showing up with umbrella!

Good job who ever thought of date night! (now throw in babysitting and downtown will be packed!)
