Edmonds-area fire calls, week of Sept. 23-29

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 382 calls the week of Sept. 23-29.

Sept. 23

COLLISION. At 1:48 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish Edmonds Hospital after responding to a collision at 13th Avenue West and 164th Street Southwest east of Lynnwood.

Sept. 24

COLLISION. At 10:02 a.m., firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a two-car collision at 148th Street Southwest and Highway 99 north of Lynnwood.

Sept. 25

COLLISION. At 12:11 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish Edmonds Hospital after responding to a collision at 164th Street Southwest and Ash Way north of Lynnwood.

CAR FIRE. At 2:42 p.m., firefighters responded to a car fire at 172nd Street Southwest and Alderwood Mall Parkway north of Lynnwood.

COLLISION. At 6:14: p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision on northbound I-5 south of 196th Street Southwest and transported one patient to Swedish Edmonds Hospital.

Sept. 26

COLLISION.  At 4:34 p.m., firefighters responded to a car that crashed into a pole in the 1600 block of 9th Avenue North in Edmonds. The driver fled on foot before firefighters arrived. There were no injuries.

Sept. 27

FIRE. At 12:51 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire in a commercial clothes dryer at a business in the 22300 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. The fire was contained to the dryer. There were no injuries.

PEDESTRIAN HIT BY CAR. At 1:53 p.m., a teenage boy was hit by a car at 100th Avenue West and Edmonds Way in Edmonds. Firefighters transported the injured boy to Swedish Edmonds Hospital.

COLLISION. At 7:48 p.m., a truck crashed into a mailbox in the 19400 block of Locust Way east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish Edmonds Hospital.

Sept. 28

CAR FIRE. At 1:23 p.m., firefighters responded to a car fire at Cypress Way and Larch Way east of Brier.
