Edmonds Friday football results: Mavericks win, Warriors lose

Redmond 34, Edmonds-Woodway 28
During a non-conference game in Redmond Friday night, the Warriors and Mustangs were tied at 28 in the fourth quarter, but Redmond earned the win after scoring on a 5-yard touchdown run.

Edmonds-Woodway, the No. 2 WesCo south representative, will meet Marysville-Pilchuck, representing WesCo north on the Tomahawks’ home field next Friday to determine the WesCo’s third and fourth playoff seeds. Edmonds-Woodway (6-2 league) beat the Tomahawks (5-3) in a nonleague game earlier this season.

Meadowdale 49, Lynnwood 7
The Mavericks dominated the Royals as they clinched a 3A Quad-District playoff berth. Meadowdale quarterback Nathan Ball was 9 for 11, racking up 157 yards and three touchdowns, and also dominated on the ground, rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Kyle Gage also scored a touchdown for the Mavericks.
