The Edmonds International Film Festival presented by the Edmonds Chanber of Commerce has announced its first three films, with more announcements to come soon. The films are:
7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21: “La Strada,” winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 1956, presented in association with The Criterion Collection and Janus Films. Directed by Federico Fellini and starring his wife, Giulietta Masina, “La Strada” is the film that launched them both into international stardom.
7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22: “Andalucía: The Best of Southern Spain,” the theatrical premier of Rick Steves’ travel documentary featuring Andalucía’s rich mix of culture, cuisine, history, and natural wonders.
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23: “My Movie Girl,” a romantic comedy starring Adam Bronstein and Mackenzie Firgens.
