For those of you who can’t attend tonight’s Civic Engagement Forum on Initiative 1098, it’s possible you may be able to view it live via My Edmonds News and MLTnews. We’re collaborating with Edmonds Community College to obtain Internet access in the Black Box Theatre, but won’t know whether the live stream works until about an hour before the forum.

I was not able to get to this event, but I was able to watch most of it via by the video on this site. Thank you Teresa for making that possible. The panel was excellent and DJ Wilson did an outstanding job moderating it – his questions and his comments showed that he fully understood the initiative.
I will not be voting for I-1098. Implementing an income tax is not the right way to have the state do a better job funding education.
