Just announced by the Edmonds International Film Festival: Have lunch with Manny Pacheco, author of the award-winning “Forgotten Hollywood, Forgotten History,” at Cafe de Paris, 109 Main St., in Edmonds. The event begins at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct 23
Let Pacheco entertain and engage you with inside and secret stories of the forgotten Hollywood past. Attendees also will have an opportunity to meet Macheco face-to-face and have him sign a copy of his book.
All attendees will receive lunch for one at Cafe de Paris, from a selected menu (drinks extra), and a copy of “Forgotten Hollywood, Forgotten History.” You will have the opportunity to have Pacheco sign the book for you at the end of the lunch.
“Forgotten Hollywood, Forgotten History” highlights the best supporting actors and actresses of Hollywood’s Golden Age, and their films that tell America’s story.
Pacheco, a veteran of three decades in radio and television in Southern California, transmits his passion for the classics against the backdrop of U.S. history. Insider tidbits about these character actors and little-known events in America’s past combine in a collection of treasures that will send readers clamoring for a new—or renewed—viewing of these movies.
