Congratulations to Mayra Aquino and Sara Koopai of Edmonds-Woodway High School, who were appointed student advisors to the Edmonds School District Board of Directors for the 2010-11 school year. The two students will be full participants in all board discussions and are bound by all rules and regulations pertaining to regular board members. The student advisors will not have the right to make motions, vote or hold board office.
The Board of Directors meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Educational Service Center, 20420 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Study sessions, at which no board matters are voted upon, are held on alternate Tuesdays. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for tonight, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m.
