Reminder: Edmonds’ Madrona School celebrates 20 years tonight

Madrona School in Edmonds turns 20 this year and the school is welcoming back all former students, teachers and parents to celebrate this big milestone tonight!

The celebration includes a visit from Madrona’s first principal, Joe Rice, plus the Toucans Steel Drum band and a family barbecue.

The school will share the contents of a 10-year old time capsule that has been buried in the Peace Garden. Dinner will be served from 4:30-6:30 p.m., followed by a formal presentation by Joe Rice and select alumni. The evening will close with music by an alumni band and birthday cake.
