Learn card-weaving techniques through Edmonds Parks & Rec

Come to the Frances Anderson Center this Saturday, Oct. 16 and learn an ancient weaving technique used to create an array of complex patterns on simple portable equipment. Create strong, intricate patterned bands that are ideal for many uses, from jewelry to sashes to garment embellishment.

Sponsored by the City of Edmonds Parks & Recreation, the Diagonal Designs class runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and you’ll receive a supply list at registration.  Cost is $38 plus a $6 supply fee. Register at www.reczone.org or Edmonds Parks & Recreation, 700 Main Street,  425-771-0230.
