At its Monday, Oct. 25 meeting, the Port Commission of the Port of Edmonds:
– Witnessed the presentation of a national award from the Veterans of Foreign Wars to two Edmonds Sea Scouts, Mirabelle Girvan and Erin Shirey. The Port of Edmonds sponsors the local Sea Scouts.
– Heard third-quarter reports from the property manager of Harbor Square, and from the Port deputy director on marina operations.
– Heard the Port third-quarter financial report from the Port finance director.
• Convened the second of three scheduled public hearings on the draft 2011 operating and capital budgets.
