Anyone driving by Robin Hood Lanes on Edmonds Way recently has probably noticed the sign congratulating junior bowler Ashleigh Klemetson on her perfect game, which in bowling is a score of 300 — or 12 straight strikes.

According to local youth bowling coach Wayne Purser (Coldwell Banker Bain Realtor and creator of 365 Things to Do in Edmonds), Klemetson bowls for Seattle’s Ballard High School in the traveling high school league and also competes in a youth program that meets at Robin Hood Lanes on Saturdays. Klemetson, who started bowling when she was 8 years old and has traveled to compete in national tournaments, bowled the perfect game on Nov. 6. Her previous high game was 253, Purser said.
