Local reroutes, limited Seattle service for Community Transit today

Icy conditions continue on roads throughout Snohomish County Wednesday morning, and Community Transit local buses are operating with some reroutes. The best place to catch a bus is a park-and-ride lot or major corridor with frequent service. And the usual reminder that buses will be delayed, so dress warmly and plan ahead.

Unless listed here, buses are operating on regular routes:

– Swift is running 30-foot buses rather than the Swift articulated buses. Route 119 is not serving 148th Street SW or Ash Way between 35th Avenue W. and the Ash Way Park & Ride.

– Route 120 is operating on I-5 and I-405 between Lynnwood and Canyon Park.

– Route 131 is rerouted off Main Street in Edmonds. Westbound buses are using Hwy 104 and Hwy 99; eastbound buses are using Bowdoin, Walnut and 9th.

CT will provide limited commuter service to downtown Seattle; Routes 401, 406 and 477 will not operate. The following routes will operate at these times:

Route 402 – 5:59, 6:26, 6:42, 6:58, 7:20, 7:37, 7:55, and 8:31 a.m.

Route 405 –  6:30, and 7:45 a.m.

Route 408 – 6:16, 7:25, and 8:18 a.m.

Route 410 – 6:40, 7:10, and 8:00 a.m.
