Highly Capable and Gifted Programs information night, testing set

The Edmonds School District will be conducting testing and holding information nights related to the district’s gifted program.

Students are identified for grade school as “gifted or highly capable” through the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT6).  There are also tests for students who want to enroll in the Gifted Middle School Program and the International Baccalaureate program at Edmonds-Woodway High School. In all programs, the pace of the instruction is designed to meet the needs of students who learn very quickly and can process information at much higher or more abstract levels.

For more information about the Challenge Program (Grades 1-6), the Gifted Middle School Program (Grades 7-8), and International Baccalaureate (Grades 9-12), visit the Highly Capable and Gifted Programs website.
