  1. I went to the game last night and was impressed with play of the underclassmen. At half I asked one of the mothers who’s son was playing why I wasn’t hearing the names of the regular senior starters. Come to find out that 6 starters were suspended for the rest of the season for rule violations on Homecoming night. This is the second time this year that players have been suspended from the football team. The first one was the day of the Edmonds/Woodway game and they were out for 4 games. As an Alumni from Meadowdale I’m disappointed by these kids. They let their teammates down and also the fans. I’m having trouble supporting a program that is out of control.
On a great note, sophmore Giavani Shepard had an excellent game with 183 yards. The defensive backs got burned a couple of times but came through when it counted.
