Residents of Edmonds’ Lake Ballinger neighborhood may have noticed that Edmonds police blocked off a neighborhood street for several hours Tuesday night.  We heard from reliable sources that the officers were there after receiving reports of a suicidal man with a gun who had locked himself in the room of a home, but police left the scene after a peaceful resolution of the situation.
