Beginning Monday or Tuesday, excavation and trenching work on the Edmonds Sounder commuter train station will impact traffic on Railroad Avenue and the sidewalk adjacent to the Edmonds Senior Center as new electrical and communication lines under Railroad Avenue are connected to existing service, Sound Transit said.
During this time, one lane of traffic on Railroad Avenue will remain open at all times and flaggers will be on hand to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the site. The work is expected to be completed by Nov. 24, when the street and sidewalk are restored
