Free Thanksgiving meal at Westgate Chapel
Westgate Chapel, 22901 Edmonds Way, will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Dinner outreach event on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The church invites the Edmonds community to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal of roast turkey with all of the trimmings. The meal is free and entertainment, childrens’ activities and a food and clothing bank will also be provided.
Thanksgiving worship at Salem Lutheran Church
Salem Lutheran Church, located at 9906 232nd St. S.W., will have a Thanksgiving worship service on Thursday, Nov. 25 at 9 a.m. “We will consider Psalm 107 with the sermon theme: ‘Let us give thanks and consider the great love of the Lord,'” Pastor Thomas Gunn said. “May Thanksgiving bring family and friends closer together.”
