Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 378 calls the week of Dec. 9-15: 285 emergency medical aid calls, 23 fires, 25 motor vehicle collisions, 24 service calls, 18 automatic fire alarms, one natural gas leak and one carbon monoxide alarm. The following calls took place in or near Edmonds:
Dec. 9
COLLISION. At 6:08 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 220th Street Southwest and 56th Avenue West in Mountlake Terrace.
Dec. 10
COLLISION. At 10:32 a.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision on southbound I-5 north of I-405.
Dec. 11
COLLISION. At 4:28 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a two-car collision on southbound I-5 south of 164th St. SW.
Dec. 12
FLOODING. Firefighters responded to more than 15 calls for assistance with flooding at homes and businesses.
PEDESTRIAN HIT BY CAR. At 12:32 p.m., a woman was injured when her parked car rolled into her in a parking lot in the 2900 block of 164th Street Southwest north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported the woman to Swedish/Edmonds.
COLLISION. At 5:39 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a collision in the 15500 block of Cascadian Way northeast of Lynnwood.
COLLISION. At 5:47 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a four-car collision at Highway 99 and Lincoln Way north of Lynnwood.
Dec. 14
COLLISION. At 3:25 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a collision at 244th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue West in Edmonds.
Dec. 15
CAR FIRE. At 6:57 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire at 164th Street Southwest and Alderwood Mall Parkway north of Lynnwood.
