Edmonds ‘Shop Hyperlocal’ finds – more downtown treasures!

My Edmonds News was back in downtown Edmonds yesterday for some additional holiday shopping, and here’s what we found:

At Cest la Vie, 320 5th Ave. S., we picked up a couple of terrific stocking stuffers:

Re-Fill glass water bottle

A 20-ounce Re-Fill glass water bottle for that health-conscious special someone who loathes plastic. $10.

A cute Glam Girl match book filled with nail files, perfect for a certain teen-age girl who lost her nail-biting habit while in college. Just $1.75.

We also purchased a gorgeous green linen scarf for a favorite sister-in-law.

Speaking of things that are beautiful and green, we were at Rebekah’s (formerly the Designer Consignor) at 404 Main St. during last Thursday’s Art Walk, and treated ourselves to a light green “consigned” sweater from the Gap. In perfect condition and a steal at $29.

Since we launched our “Shop Hyperlocal” campaign on Black Friday, we’ve heard from several folks who have been inspired to shop in Edmonds and benefit our local economy. Do you have a story to share? Let us know and we’ll include it on My Edmonds News!

  1. Finished off my shopping last week in downtown Edmonds. Picked up a gift certificate for my wife at Saetia…what a beautiful store. Bought some books from Edmonds Bookshop and got excellent advice from the staff (thank you). Gift cards from Walnut St. Cafe and then dinner at the Winged Pig, which might be Edmonds’ best restaurant value: delicious food and wine at reasonable prices.
