Edmonds-based Driftwood Players’ Alternative Stages presents “The Eight Reindeer Monologues” at midnight Fridays and Saturdays, starting this Friday through Dec. 18.

Here’s the plot: Scandal erupts at the North Pole when one of Santa’s eight tiny reindeer accuses him of ungentlemanly conduct. As mass media descends upon the event, the other members of the team demand to have their say, and a horrific tale of corruption and perversion emerges, which seems to implicate everyone from the littlest elf to the tainted Saint himself. Directed by Greg LoProto, this show is for adult audiences — and not for the faint of heart or those easily offended.
