-The Edmonds liquor store is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day; Top Foods on 220th Street Southwest closes at 10 p.m. Christmas Eve and is closed Christmas Day; the Safeway Store on Highway 99 closes at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve and is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m Christmas Day.; Petosa’s Family Grocer at 550 5th Ave. S. is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Christmas Day. Westgate QFC is open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and is open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Christmas Day. PCC Natural Markets is open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas.

-No home mail delivery, and post offices closed.

-Edmonds City Hall and Snohomish County offices closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

-The Edmonds Library closes at 3 p.m. Christmas Eve and is closed Christmas Day. It will be open regular hours, 1-5 p.m., on Sunday.

Chanterelle: Open 8 a.m.-1 p.m. with breakfast menu on Christmas Eve Day, closed Christmas Day, open 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Claire’s Pantry: Open Christmas Eve 7 a.m.-4 p.m., closed Christmas Day.

Daphne’s: Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Transportation

There is no Community Transit service on Saturday. Due to budget cuts, the agency has suspended service on Sundays and six major holidays.

Community Transit will also have reduced commuter service on Friday:

– Local buses run on Saturday schedules on Christmas Eve. Commuter service to Seattle is reduced to Route 414 only, with added trips.

– Sounder train service is on a weekday schedule on Christmas Eve and will not operate on Christmas.

– Edmonds/Kingston ferry is operating on weekday schedule on Christmas Eve.  On Christmas Day, the route will be on a normal weekend schedule.
