The Edmonds Center for the Arts will be hosting a variety of performances from around the corner and around the world in the next few months, including the following:
On Saturday, Feb. 5, Terrace Park Elementary PTA presents Edmonds Comedy Night IV, at 7:30 p.m. Coordinated by Terrace Park parent and professional comedian Kermit Apio, the evening features A-list comics who have all donated their time: Auggie Smith (2010 winner of both Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competitions and performed at ECA as a semi-finalist), previous Seattle International Comedy Competition winner Dwight Slade (also a previous performer at ECA) and former “Funniest Person in Austin” winner Nancy Reed. Terrace Park School houses the Edmonds School District’s challenge program and organizers will donate $5 to the PTAs at other schools in the district for every ticket they sell to the event.
On Saturday, Feb. 12, enjoy an evening of laughter to celebrate Valentine’s Day with The Second City at 7:30 p.m., sponsored by Dewar Meeks and Ekrem and Puget Sound Tax Services
On Saturday, Feb. 19, you can rock and roll away your winter blues with local classic rock tribute band Spike and the Impalers at 8 p.m.
Also appearing at ECA is the multi-talented Vicki Lawrence on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m., sponsored by Jan and Benny Teal, Windermere Real Estate-Edmonds and Terry Vehrs Windermere, and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Randy Newman on Monday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to all ECA performances can be purchased through the box office at 425-275-9595 or online at www.ec4arts.org.
