Due to snowy and icy conditions throughout the service area, Community Transit service is reduced today and many buses are on reroute. CT advises bus riders to dress warmly, expect delays and get to a park and ride or major bus stop in a flat area for the best service.
Commuter routes to Seattle are operating limited service with 40-foot buses, CT said, and most routes will operate only every other trip, starting with the first trip of the morning.
Swift service, which runs along Highway 99 from Aurora Village through Edmonds to Everett, is being operated by 30-foot buses. Pay at the station as usual and board at the front.
The following Edmonds-area routes are on reroute due to road conditions:
Route 101 – regular route
Route 110 – not serving stops on Dayton, Main, Walnut or Third in the Edmonds area.
Route 116 – not serving Snohomish Cascade, Puget Park or Village Green in Mill Creek and Silver Firs. Not serving Caspers in Edmonds.
Route 118 – regular route
Route 119 – not serving 148th or 176th streets in Meadowdale and north Lynnwood.
Route 130 – not serving Dayton or Main Street
Route 131 – Using Hwy. 104 to access downtown Edmonds.
800s – regular route
