Community Transit service change move to mid-March

Community Transit’s next service change, originally scheduled to take place in early February, has been moved to mid-March because work still is being completed at the Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station being  built by Sound Transit.

The current bus schedules, available in the Bus Plus books and online, will remain in effect until the service change.  Much of Community Transit’s next service change is centered on the freeway station, which is located in the I-5 median just west of the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center.

A pedestrian overpass will connect the transit center and the freeway station. New Bus Plus books and online schedules will be available a couple of weeks before the service change takes place, Community Transit said. Additional information about the changes will be available online and on-board buses starting March 1.  Sound Transit service changes on Routes 510, 511, 513, 532 and 535 are delayed until mid-March as well.  King County Metro service changes will take effect Feb. 5.
