Edmonds-area fire calls: Jan. 6-12

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 366 calls the week of Jan. 6-12: 284 emergency medical aid calls, 24 fires, 21 motor vehicle collisions, 12 service calls, 19 automatic fire alarms, five natural gas leaks and one hazardous materials response. The following calls took place in or near Edmonds:

Jan. 7
COLLISION. At 3:03 p.m., firefighters transported two patients to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 216th Street Southwest and 66th Avenue West in Mountlake Terrace.

Jan. 9

PEDESTRIAN HIT BY A CAR. At 6:22 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a car at 230th Street Southwest and 58th Avenue West in Mountlake Terrace. The woman was transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds.

Jan. 10

COLLISION. At 5:38 p.m., firefighters transported three patients to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 230th Street Southwest and Highway 99 in Edmonds.

Jan. 12
CAR FIRE. At 5:36 p.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire in the 21900 block of Highway 99 in Mountlake Terrace.
