Cole Gallery celebrates its fourth anniversary with live music, food and soul-stirring art this Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the gallery. The anniversary show will feature every one of Cole Gallery’s over 40 artists exhibiting more than 50 new paintings.
Denise Cole opened Cole Gallery & Artists’ Supplies in December of 2006 with a vision for bringing acclaimed Northwest artists to the forefront of the arts community. She now represents artists from all over the country. Cole Gallery is Denise’s second gallery venture, having been a co-owner of a studio gallery in the Edmonds area.
“Opening this gallery has been one of the toughest and most rewarding journey’s in my life,” Cole said. “I am so thankful to all of my artists, collectors, and friends of the gallery for making this possible. Great art sings to the soul, and my soul sings everyday I walk into work.”
The Anniversary Show will be up from Jan. 15-Feb. 16. Opening night will feature the Richard Cole Jazz Trio as well as catered food from Shorecrest High School’s Culinary Arts Program under the direction of Tami Johnston. To help the gallery celebrate, Jeffrey Martin of CIM Financial Group will be giving away a painting by David Marty the evening of the party. All art will be 10 percent off the week of the show.
If you would like an invite to the opening night gala, email Cole Gallery at info@colegallery.net. See the full show at www.colegallery.net. The gallery will also be open to the public for the Edmonds’ Third Thursday Art Walk on Jan. 20 from 5-8pm.
