More than 50 members of the Edmonds-based Sno-King Community Chorale are leaving Thursday morning for New York City, in preparation for their Monday, Jan. 17 debut in Carnegie Hall, where they will sing composer Karl Jenkins’ new work, Gloria
The chorale will be joined by choirs from around the world to perform a “Concert for Peace Celebrating the Spirit of Martin Luther King Jr.”
According to chorale member Barbara Kindness, group members have a free day Friday, then will spend six hours in rehearsal Saturday and Sunday to prepare for Monday’s performance. The group flies back Tuesday, Kindness sail.
