Special Olympics Coach Becki Bell has her day in Edmonds

Today, Jan. 18, is Becki Bell Day in Edmonds.

Edmonds Mayor Mike Cooper made the proclamation during a recognition for Bell, a paraeducator at Edmonds-Woodway High School, hosted by the Special Olympics Parent Booster Organization Monday.

A Special Olympics coach for 26 years, Bell’s service was also recognized by a representative from the state Special Olympics office, who commented that the Edmonds School District’s Special Olympics is the best organized in the state with the highest level of participation and
community support.

Congratulations to Becki and all who participate in and support Special Olympics.
