Two Edmonds-area high school basketball teams were knocked out of the District 1 playoffs Tuesday night, and both of them lost in overtime.
Edmonds-Woodway’s boys team fought Lake Stevens through two overtime periods but in the end the Vikings defeated the Warriors 74-69 in Lake Stevens. Josh Jordan led E-W with 22 points, Zack Berg added 19 and Devin Joseph scored 14.
Meanwhile, Meadowdale’s girls team lost in overtime in an away game to Ferndale, 50-44.
