Lisa Freeman of the Celtic Cowboy barbecue announced on Facebook Wednesday afternoon that the restaurant — which had its grand opening Tuesday — has to close for a few weeks due to the illness of her husband and Celtic barbecue chef Steve.
“He is going to be fine but we cannot do this without him,” Lisa Freeman said. “We sincerely apologize for the delay but we will announce another, even better grand opening when he gets back on his feet. Keep your eyes, ears and noses open for signs of when the smoke will return. Thanks again to everyone for your continued support.”
Good news for those yearning for this delicious food. As you’ll see on their website (https://www.ccbbq.com/) they will reopen on Tuesday June 28.
