Edmonds Military Wire: Sen. Murray wants to hear from you on veterans issues

Regardless of your politics, if you are a veteran in the state of Washington, you likely appreciate the work and effort Sen. Patty Murray has put toward veterans’ issues. Washington state is home to the six largest population of veterans and is often on the progressive edge of trying new programs that will benefit all veterans. But is there more that can be done? Now is your chance to be heard.

As the new chair of the United States Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Sen. Murray wants to hear how we can improve the lives of veterans in Washington state.

For those in the Seattle area, there will be a Listening Session this Thursday, Feb. 24, 9:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
at the Nisei Veteran’s Hall, 1212 S. King St., Seattle.
