Edmonds City Councilmember D.J. Wilson included this item in his update to citizens Wednesday.  We are repeating it here as it was addressed at Tuesday night’s council meeting but we forgot to include it in our earlier report:

18 Story Buildings on the Waterfront?

Actually, this time it’s true – but it’s over in Point Wells.  Snohomish County has authorized development of buildings up to 180 feet near the Edmonds waterfront.  I was in Olympia testifying in support of a bill that would limit this sort of development by requiring it to adhere to the development standards of its neighboring cities.

Last night, I’m pleased to say my City Council colleague joined me by supporting a resolution in favor of this bill.
