Sixth annual Terrace Idol competition continues Thursday

Our friends at MLT News have the latest results from the sixth annual Terrace Idol singing competition between Edmonds-Woodway, Meadowdale, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, Scriber Lake and Shorecrest high schools.

The competition starts with approximately 20 performers (the list of all competitors is below). On the first night, about half of the performers are eliminated leaving 10 to compete in round 2. On the second night, five more performers are eliminated, leaving five performers for the third and final round. Those five will perform for a final time and the judges will pick 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-place winners.

The first round was last Friday, and you can catch the next two rounds this Thursday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace High School theater. The cost is $7, or $5 if you have a student ASB card.

On Thursday, there will be a special performance by guest judge Sabzi from the Blue Scholars.
