Students build brick wall of kindness at Sherwood Elementary in Edmonds

In an effort to show students how to be kind to each other, students at Edmonds' Sherwood Elementary School have been decorating paper bricks with words, pictures and images that express ways to be kind, as a part of 8th Annual National No Name Calling Week. Spearheaded by school psychologist Ana Shumway, some students even showed how name calling or unkind words do hurt others and make problems worse. The Wall of Kindness is in the gym and is slowly growing, Shumway said.
