Today: Lady Warriors tip off in Edmonds at 2 p.m., Mav boys at Glacier Peak

You and your family can enjoy the excitement of high school basketball playoffs this afternoon as the Edmonds-Woodway girls  continue their journey for a berth to the state high school basketball championships, facing Kamiak High School in a loser-out District 1 contest at 2 p.m. on the Warriors’ home court, 7600 212th St. S.W.

The team must win today to stay in the running, so come out and show your support for the Warrior girls, who finished 5th in the state 4A tournament last year.

And tonight, Meadowdale’s boys team travels to Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish to take on the Grizzlies, starting at 7:30 p.m. This game is not loser-out, but if the boys win, they automatically qualify for a state bid.
