Dogs get their green on in Firdale Village; DMarie’s grand opening Saturday

Dorothy Moore of the Dining Dog serves 15-year-old Poppy while owner Abbie White looks on.
DMarie's owner Danita Nickels, right, visits with Bonnie Jardine and her dog Sumi.

Dogs were wearing the green in Firdale Village Thursday as The Dining Dog restaurant served an Irish-themed meal for its four-legged clientele and DMarie’s Doggie Boutique hosted a St. Patrick’s Day-themed Playgroup Pawty.

DMarie’s will hold a grand opening from 1-5 p.m. this Saturday, March 19, and owner Danita Nickles invites dog owners — especially those with small breeds — to check out her line of dog clothing, personally designed by her and made in the USA (in Seattle, no less) for your favorite pooch.

DMarie’s is located at 9639 Firdale Ave. For more information, call 206-367-4045.

Also check out the Fido Fashion Show and Feast featuring both of these Edmonds businesses that aired March KING-TV’s New Day Northwest here.
