BASEBALL

E-W 12, Cascade 2

The Warriors’ bats continued to stay hot Friday as E-W scored a 12-2 win over Cascade Friday.

Austin Jones was 3-for-4 and scored two runs and three RBIs while Derek Callahan went 2-for-5, including a triple. Pitching for E-W was Ryan Budnick (3-0) who went six innings, giving up two runs and striking out six. Budnick also had a double with 2 RBIs. His brother Tate Budnik served as catcher, going 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs. E-W’s Brice Mezich pitched the final inning

Meadowdale 10, Glacier Peak 3

The Mavs and Grizzlies were tied until the seventh inning, when Meadowdale scored seven runs. Leading the Warriors was Riley Bykonen, who went 2 for 4 with a double. Riley Bykonen batted 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI and Tyler Ackerman went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI for Meadowdale.

SOFTBALL

E-W 15, Mariner 1

E-W pitcher Katelyn Lafferty went 4-for-4 with five RBI to lead the Warriors to victory over Mariner. Other top Warrior scorers included Sydney Forset (3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI), Sydney Daniel (2-for-5 with three RBI) and Brooklynn Bailey(two doubles).
